We trooped down to mediacorp (at Sunday 7am oh my sweet potato) to play the Stompers for an episode of Life Story featuring the Quests. To say the least, it was an interesting experience.


After putting on 60s makeup and clothes, the assistant director told us we weren't up for another couple hours. so she suggested we head for the canteen. so we did, pulling a couple of extras who were playing fans. we reached the canteen to realise that

the canteen does not open on sundays.

so we went back. for some reason, there was a gaming room which was empty. what games then?
so after we exhausted the possibilities of a defunct canteen (equals yakult from the vending machine), we headed back to the studio.

Joaquim was on stage playing Vernon Cornelius.


While offstage we were doing various other things.


The filming itself was rather entertaining. I for one, have never lip-synched before. We did quite a few takes so they could get different angles, so we walked away with the song's hook annoyingly attached to our skulls.

When does this episode air? I don't know, i don't watch TV, so tell me if you do.

We opened the show with the title song, with Henry, the man who got the whole thing going, fronting us. Here we are after the show.
