When did you start singing?
My first proof of myself singing is a cassette tape which I have of myself recorded by my mom when I was about 3 yrs old...She uses it to threaten me sometimes though, its very embarassing.
Early shot at performance?
I won a Chinese karaoke competition in my secondary school days, my first song i performed was in mandarin... if I am not wrong it was on teacher's day. Loved the sound of applause since then
Do you play other instruments?
i play the piano. But since I was classical trained and I only took it until I was heavily involved in sports in secondary school. I had a musical lag when I was 15 to 20... it explains why I am not quite familiar with bands and music from those years.
What are your musical influences?
Vocally I am not exactly sure I have a single influence; however there are some artists whom I find extremely entertaining on stage, some have great enunciation and others have so much experience to learn from during interviews. A few of my favourites are Bono, Frank Sinatra, Scott Weiland, Rob Thomas, Elvis, Freddie Mercury, Sarah Mclachlan.
What music do you listen to?
i listen to pretty much everything, Rock, pop, jazz, chillout, hip hop, classical and even opera. They are all amazing in their own way. It all depends on the mood,ambience and the company I guess. I wouldn't listen to hip hop if you wanted a relaxing dinner at home, you know?
Which is your favourite song that Reverie plays?
Hmm...this is a tough one. I don't think there is a particular song that we play that is my favourite. But rather I like very much to perform to a crowd that interacts and grooves to the band, Singaporeans are usually very reserved and don't express that they enjoy the live music. I thrive on the audience's reaction.
What equipment are you using right now?
A Shure Beta 58A wired microphone and a really cool hercules mic Stand

Most Chinese cuisine rocks.

Coke light,Oldenlandia water and alcohol wise.. I'm not picky.

Erm... I do think Belle from beauty and the beast is the perfect girl.I would like to have someone like that in my life.
