REVERIE was formed in 2003 in the eastern part of Singapore. Way east, near Changi Village, to be exact, in a small army camp called Hendon.

It was a stoke of fortune that a few like-minded (women, beer and music) individuals decided to do something more productive with the little spare time they had, than to just go have supper at Changi Village. So the first jam session happened.

After a couple of switcheroos, and a couple of additions, the band quickly settled to what it is today. Jamming became a regular thing, something to do to break the monotony of Army life. But Reverie wanted more than just to jam. The band wanted to perform, and so the chance quickly came when they were to play at Balaclava at Suntec City; their first paid gig. Reverie (then known as Final RendezVous) never looked back.

Reverie landed gigs here and there, including regular slots at Wala Wala Holland Village and Balaclava, as well as wedding functions and other events, gaining support slowly but steadily. Reverie's current home is a weekly gig at Barcelona, Robertson Walk, where the band entertains with an eclectic mix of songs from all genres.

It is hard to pin any specific genre to Reverie, as the band, known for versatility, has a repertoire which includes rock, jazz, oldies and disco funk. Reverie truly feels as comfortable performing in an acoustic pub setting as it is playing in an outdoor rock gig.

Apart from versatility, Reverie boasts of incredible stage chemistry and musical technicality. With amazing solos, chord interpretation and vocal harmony, Reverie proves that they are not your mediocre boy-band that happens to play instruments. And as a corollary, the band at least gives the audience something to look at, along with the always-present kicking and grooving (or so they hope).

Reverie is set to give the local music scene a run for their money. They would love to have YOUR support. The band thrives on the energy of the listener and needs your love and embracing ears (well, beer and donations would go down well too, but personal satisfaction comes first of course. heh) in their long and arduous journey to success.
